REYNOSA ROSE

                              Pat Roberson - BMI

Down in Mexico, there is a girl I know

They call the Reynosa Rose, and all the gaucho are at her feet

She is an angel, workin’ for the devil

Once her daddy’s pride and joy, now he turns her away in shame

But when the mariachi play, she’ll dance the dusty streets

And pedal her love away, to every stranger she meets

La Cantina Diablo, that’s where you’ll find her

Drinking tequila, to ease her pain

So if you’re down in Mexico, where the world turns slow

Ask the people on the street, and they can tell you where to go

To meet an angel, workin’ for the devil

And in her eyes you’ll see, a heart as cold as stone

But as the mariachi play, she’ll dance her nights away

And pedal her love away, to every stranger she meets

La Cantina Diablo, that’s where you’ll find her

Sipping tequila, to ease her pain

Drinking tequila nights away
